Hi there , I’ve been having an issue where when booting up my QC. No volume seems to come into the device. If I then go to the input screen . And turn down input 1, a few Db. The volume then comes back. I then turn it back to what it’s meant to be and all is fine . But it’s doing this in 95% of my boot ups. Any ideas?
There was a similar problem, where some users (including me) got no input or output but it showed that there was a signal. In my case, Neural changed the I/O board and everything was fine.
How old is your QC?
Thanks for the reply. I bought my QC in the first batch . My unit has never really left the house . So it’s not done many miles etc. Neural have sent me a reply and I’m doing some tests . Including a reset on in/outs. What’s weird is , when it does it. You can repeatedly power down and reboot 10 times or so and it works fine . But then the next day, same issue.
I’m on the latest software , but it started doing it a few versions back. I was hoping the updates might fix it.
Just curious if you are using the OEM power supply or something else and to ensure you are using 12v @ 2A minimally? I would definitely make a backup and complete a factory reset and restore to see if that resolves things. I’m sure support will likely ask you to do the same I would assume.
Hi there , yes still using original power supply . I may well have to try a full factory reset
