Problems with expressions pedal with wah effect block ( always on as default when switching presets )

I’m having some issues with having a wah block in my scenes. looking to see if anyone has managed to get it to work correctly.

Current setup
QC to Hotone Ampero Press II with TRS connected to QC’s Expression 1 & 2

The wah is working perfectly fine however the problem is when i change presets and switch back to the mentioned preset, the wah is always turned on with toe down by default even though i have saved the preset as wah off by default.

Does anyone have a workaround for this?
Cheers!

Hey there, i am struggeling with this problem, too.

I got a simple M-Audio EXP and it works very well after choosing the Assigns (heel-toe or stop).

For some strange reason, now it will stay off when changing scenes (in the past it was the same you told) and works.
BUT:
…now, when i am changing the preset, it seems not to save the assignments.
Opening the same present again the pedal does not react.
In the Assignment-Menu everything is like i did.
When i chang a parameter it is back …

Maybe someone had the same issues…

UPDATE:
It is the BYPASS-Assign which gets lost by preset-change.
WAH still reacts…

Not quite good for playing on stage….

I believe this may be a bug.
Wouldn’t hurt to send a diagnostics report & contact Support@neuraldsp.com

Hey that worked beautifully! Appreciate your input. That absolutely solved it.

I just had to copy any wah block from the factory presets and paste it into my own preset.

Cheers!

Great!!
Thanks for the feedback!

Unfortunately not every type of WAH is used in the factory presets…
ok…i didnt scroll all of them…

But for saving the defaults it will work the way i described.

Much fun to you!!

Cheers!

Hey, I’m having the same problem, but with the pitch shifter. It’s also an Ampero Press II and started doing this only after the update to 3.0.

see if this template preset works, I made it specifically for the Ampero Press II XP:

Excellent! I’ll give it a try.

Thanks

Hi, in my case, this happens only when I use clyde wah (I mean, when I change clyde wah to something like bad horsie and save, the assignment stays as it is even when I change presets.)
I wanted to use clyde wah for the next gig, and I was totally at a loss, when I happened to find your comment about workaround, and it is working perfectly!
I really appreciate it!
I will report this bug to neural support so that this will be fixed in the next update.

Great!! :+1: Have fun!!
