Plini X makes Reaper Freeze Consistently

So I just noticed that Plini X makes my Reaper freeze for a few minutes every single time. I’m on Plini X 1.0.1 (VST3 version) and Reaper 7.18, on Windows 10 on an Acer Predator laptop.

I’ve tested multiple scenarios:

  1. Loading a project that has many Plini X instances (as well as other Neural DSP plugins) makes it freeze for a few mins and takes a long time to load.

  2. Loading a new Plini X instance also causes it to freeze and takes time.

  3. Offlining a Plini X instance and bringing it back online also makes it freeze.

I can confirm that Nolly X and Nameless X don’t cause these issues; they’ve been working fine. But Plini X is my favorite and I’m already using it on a ton of projects.

I can’t remember exactly when this problem started, but probably a while ago, and recently became frustrating enough that I decided to post here.

I’m not sure if there’s something I can do to fix this, or if Plini X has such issues and others are also facing it?

Please contact support@neuraldsp.com , it might also be a good idea to delete and reinstall the plugin. I use reaper as well and haven’t had this issue.
