Pitch change original tracks / Cubase Artist 12

Hello everyone,
I wanted to use my Quad Cortex as an audio interface to my CUBASE Artist 12 for the first time and noticed the following:

When I open an existing song and switch the inputs and outputs to the Quad Cortex (usually using a Steinberg UR22C), the existing tracks are output one pitch higher than the original.

I haven’t found the issue yet - can anyone help me out?

I don’t use Cubase, but it could be related to the sample rate. Most probably, your project is in 44.1kHz. The QC only runs at 48Khz.
So if you don’t resample your project it could explain why it’s running faster with a higher pitch.

There must be a setting somewhere in Cubase to resample the project at 48KHz.
