I’m finding that a parameters with an Expression Pedal assignment will load at the Expression Pedal setting, instead of at a preferred setting for that particular preset.
I would prefer that a preset load with specific settings and not change UNTIL the expression pedal is touched.
I am wanting the same thing and I’m sure that I came across this setting at some point. I have one of my pedals set to control delay feedback amount but would like the parameter to stay at its default value when I load the preset. Maybe they changed this in an update or I dreamt it lol.
Think it is still the same, see pg.35 in the 3.0 manual. Parameter values default to wherever the pedal is positioned when you switch to a preset or scene.
Per @ASTROFREQ request it would be nice to have an option to maintain the preset or scene’s last saved value on load instead of the current pedal position. Surprising this has so few votes. Is there another similar request?
I sort of gave up on this. I started this request 3 years ago and it only has a few votes. I generally find workarounds for requests that haven’t come to fruition yet.
Strongly agree. When loading a scene, a parameter assigned to an expression pedal should initially appear at the saved value… Then overridden as soon as you move that expression pedal.
I frequently use an expression pedal to control the mix of a delay or its amount of feedback. For most of us, there would be a default setting, from which you could then increase or decrease with the expression pedal.
That might NOT be the preference on a wah, for example, so it might be nice if this was either a global setting or an option in the expression pedal assignment screen.
