Output block for XLR and 1/4 outs

I searched and couldn’t find this request, so I apologize if it’s been done already. But I would to have a block that lets me send signal to the 1/4” outs to send to amps on stage before the captures in my chain that go to XLR and FOH. I can accomplish this with an FX send block but then I can’t use the FX send and return. Cheers!

You can already do this by splitting to another row…

but if you have a pretty full patch using all the rows, it could be useful to have a separate way to send to the outputs, my parallel bass patch has no way for me to split off my cab sims etc currently, but if I could add a separate output block BEFORE my cab or IR, and it send to both, that would be amazing and mega flexible

Fair enough, but OP didn’t make that clear. I was inviting them to clarify why they weren’t using splits to multiple rows (and multiple outputs), but I didn’t make that clear either.

To be fair I could see this as being a workaround for the cab bypass by output feature request. If there were a block for output 1, 2, 1/2, 3, 4, 3/4 you could add to the grid (maybe have output and thru output) this would allow for a pre cab sim signal to be sent to say a power amp and cab, and then the signal after to front of house with cab sim. Would save dedicating one lane to just cab sim, and allow for more blocks to be added

I think it’s obviously implied that I can’t split to another row. Otherwise this wouldn’t be an issue and I’d have no need for the request. I’ve been using the QC since it came out and have had every one of the hardware products. .

It wasn’t obviously implied. Lots of people post questions on here with very few details (like yours) and the solution is usually very simple. First thought when answering any of these questions is not thinking there’s stuff “obviously implied”

One additional possibility for when your preset is too complex to split out a dedicated row… You may be able to squeeze a Transparent Blend Block at the end of a row and have it grab the signal from upstream (prior to your captures) to send to the 1/4" outs. It won’t work in every case, but it’s one more tool to try. The screenshot shows an example of this.

Can we see a screenshot of your preset? Kind of hard to suggest something when we only know it’s a preset using most of the rows.

I actually split out of a pedal that’s in the QC fx loop to an amp onstage. The signal returns back into the QC and then goes into an IR for FOH.

The JHS buffered splitter is a good option when going to multiple heads.
