Only having DI input sound

Hey everyone i just downloaded a trial version of Archetype Plini today and after installation i couldn’t seem to make it work with my Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. I’m using a Windows 10 PC and when i play my guitar while the plugin is open, only a DI clean sound is coming out and no effect regardless of what i change

Hi @mikkelkam. You probably have to disable Direct Monitoring in your audio interface.

thanks. i already disabled but there’s no signal through when i open up my recording DAW

What DAW are you using? Usually, you have to follow these steps:

  • Create an audio track
  • Enable monitoring on the track and disable Direct Monitoring on your interface
  • Make sure the track receives signal from your instrument (while Direct Monitoring is disabled)
  • Insert the plugin on the track
