Noob trying to install Gojira plug in into Cubase 15 pro

Ok, I get it. I’m not as tech savvy as I used to be. I can get the Gojira plug in to work fine on it’s own, and I even figured out how to install the .dll file into the VST plug ins folder and I can now open the plugin within the Cubase environment, but while opened in Cubase I get no sound nor any indication that Cubase sees the signal whatsoever. What did I do wrong here?

After loading the plugin in cubase you have to monitor the output, firstly make sure you have the correct audio device selected, choose it’s ASIO driver or equivalent, then enable monitoring.

check here for details.

Also you are probably better off with the vst3 version of the plugin, dll’s are associated with the older vst2 format. You can find your vst3 folder in >> Program FIles/Common files/vst3

You can point cubase to this folder in settings if it doesn’t know about it for some reason.
