You will be best served if you email support@neuraldsp.com so they can log your issue, collect diagnostic logs and hopefully provide resolution. As an initial test, I recommend to back up, perform a factory reset and restore to see if that resolves your issues. When this occurs, does the I/O screen register your input and output signals?
Thank you. Yes, I have emailed support, and they’ve given me a few suggestions of things to try, including selecting factory preset one A on start-up. For some reason this does sometimes resolve the issue.
Good thinking about doing a factory reset, I will also check the I/O page…
I’m still having issues with this, and from what I can see I’m not alone.
Neural haven’t really been much help so far - anyone else still having trouble with this?
I have had this issue numerous times. I resorted to purchasing a new unit . I will continue to try and resolve the issue with the original unit. I will keep you posted.
This is exactly my issue as well. I had mine sent back to Sweetwater (U.S.) for repair. 3 weeks later, I get it back supposedly repaired (just today). It seems to be working fine so far. They replaced the Zenjack PC board and a capacitor. All covered under warranty thank goodness! The bill would have been US$533.47 had warranty not covered it.
One of the diagnostic tests they had me do was to pull down the i/o menu and look at the i/o meters. I had no sound, but the input meter was reading green about 3/4 of the way in (-18dB). I switched the screen to input 2, and it was the same way, even though I had nothing even plugged into input 2.
Yeah this is exactly what happened on my device @Doublehelix
You can imagine my heartrate when this happend while preparing all my stuff for a soundcheck at a venue. Holy s. I restarted the QC like 8 times, which costs me 20 minutes until it worked.
I will get back the QC from second repair (thomann) hopefully this week - i just hope it will WORK flawlessly. (my warranty ends next months…)
Neural was kind enough saying, that if anything happens to this unit again, i should contact them directy, not thomann. So props to the NDSP Team.
I did all the process with thomann. They had a repair partner for those things happening to the QC. Got back my unit meanwhile. At the moment everything works fine. I have rehearsal this friday and a show next week - hopefully everything will be fine
The time without the qc was horrible. Playing it again after 3-4 weeks without it was like christmas honestly
Thanks for your response. I did hear from Neural Support. They instructed me to reach out to Sweetwater and make arrangements for shipping and ultimately repair. I am using my backup Quad and I am little nervous about being out here without a life raft.
Does anyone know the name and city of the California repair center? My buddy in No-Cal bought one of the first units (we’ll out of warranty, now). He lost one of the XLR outs recently and wants to get it repaired.
