New QC - what am I doing wrong - can't change Presets using footswitches

Just got my Quad Cortex. What am I doing wrong?

When in SCENE mode, the foot switches work - changing both the SCENE name on the screen and the sounds as footswitches A-H are used.

However, when in PRESET mode the footswitches only change the name of the PRESET on the screen, but doesn’t change the sound. The sound of whatever PRESET was originally selected is the sound you get on every PRESET, regardless of what the screen says the name of the PRESET is.

I CAN change PRESETS (both the PRESET name and the PRESET sound) if I use the touch screen. But if I use the footswitches, the sound does not change.

So if I’m in SCENE mode (where the footswitches work) and the 2 MODE footswitches to change to PRESET mode, then footswitches A-H will work to select the different presets in the bank that is selected.

But if I use the UP or DOWN footswitches to change to another bank, both the UP and DOWN footswitch LEDs are lit green, and the A-H footswitches now only change the PRESET name on the screen, but the sound of the PRESET.

You have to press the preset button twice. This should do the job.

Bank change just “prepares” the preset (so you can antecipate a change). Then you have to press the switch again in order to lock and actually change to that preset.
