Hi,
Quick question about accounts. In my band, we are two guitarist who share all our plugins as we both do all the recording for our entire band and we live in different places of our country. All our albums are recorded with Ndsp plugins that myself or the other guy have bought.
Now we are going on tour, and since i have the QC (he is a kemper guy…) i want to recreate the tones on the QC, but some of the X-plugins are on his ndsp(ilok) account.
I cant figure out if i can access his plugins om my QC, since his plugins are linked through his iLock to his Ndsp account…
Is this possible? what would be the best course of action?
AFAIK you would need to log into his NDSP account on your QC. You can’t link the same ilok account to two different NDSP accounts at the same time. I tried this sort of thing recently with a band mate and I couldn’t get access to the plugins he has + the ones I have to load at the same time.
BUT you might be able to have your friend unlink his ilok account to his NDSP account, and then link it through your NDSP account. That way all the ilok licenses might end up connecting when you open the QC. Haven’t tried this yet myself though. They allow you to link three (?) ilok accounts to the same NDSP account for a scenario like yours.
