Does it have a tap tempo?

Hard to complain. Personally I was after midi control but there are heaps of new effects to enjoy  the extra phaser , delays and verbs will more than make up for it !

Man, as soon as I saw this update I ran to my cortex lol. I was gonna do an expensive and irreversible mod to my Bass VI to get some more midrange out of it, but this update made it so i don’t even have to now. With compression, overdrive and EQ, I get sounds I never could before. Thank you so much mod team, for this update. I’m really happy I purchased this product

I am also a happy camper with the update. I did find they changed the Program Control name, so I have to edit that to have other software make PC changes. Not a big issue, but I’m not sure why it was necessary for those of us wanting a seamless firmware change.

No, sadly it doesn’t.

Anyone else have the update keep failing a few times? It took a couple tries for me and it eventually went through. The whole time I had my phone next to or on top of the nano cortex during the update.

Oh man this is a really big juicy update.

Will the firmware update reset all presets to factory state? Do I have to store my preset somewhere else before updating?

No. I did the update yesterday and all my presets were just fine. They just now have the option of adding effects in the new blocks.

It failed me for the first time, probably because the USB cable was plugged in. Disconnecting it and trying again made it work smoothly the second time.

No issues here with updating, my presets remained, and some lovely changes that were clearly made in response to the community. Great job all around, and a pretty quick turnaround imo

I encountered an issue after updating the Nano Cortex. In the Cortex Cloud app, the NEURAL CAPTURE menu remains greyed out and does not display the live settings. Is there a way to fix this?

Please email support@neuraldsp.com so they can log your issue and hopefully provide a quick resolution.

My favourites so far are: Reverse Delay, the TC style chorus, boss style chorus and vibrato, Tape Delay, envelope filter. With pitch and fuzz can get some monster Jack White tones  Also shout out to the Ambience verb. Coming from mainly Eventide effects (at one point i had 3xh9s on a board) I always thought Strymon had the edge in the Bigsky type sound but this is really good too. These FX to me sound as good as anything and the amp tones were always great. I’m super happy with the format! Now how to setup these presets :joy:
