I currently use an Apollo x4 as an audio interface. If I want to use a real time neural plug I just mute that input on the console app and have the returns of the app playing through virtual channel 1/2. It would be nice to have that type of functionality in the built in audio interface for the QC. Ie be able to mute an input but still pass signal to the plug-in.
Inputs 1&2 are always passed through to your DAW directly, whether or not you’re monitoring them from the QC. And if you want the effected signal from the QC to your DAW without monitoring it from the QC outputs, just select a USB output instead of a physical one.
