Multiple Signal Splits and Parallel Routing Options (Fractal-style)

Hello everyone,

I would like to request an expansion of the current routing capabilities of the Quad Cortex, specifically regarding how signal splits are handled.

Currently, the Quad Cortex allows for a split into Rows 1/2 and Rows 3/4. However, it lacks the flexibility to create multiple independent parallel splits at different points along the signal chain, similar to what Fractal Audio devices offer (where you can split and merge blocks freely across a grid).

Why this is needed:

  • Advanced Parallel Processing: Allowing multiple splits would let us run separate parallel effects (like multiple delays, choruses, or pitch shifters) in different positions of the chain without consuming entire row routings.
  • Complex Bass/Guitar Rigs: It would make it much easier to split the low/high frequencies, apply independent processing at different stages, and merge them back multiple times.
  • Grid Efficiency: It would maximize the use of a single row or dual rows without forcing the user to route the entire signal down to rows 3 and 4 just for a simple parallel effect block.

It would be amazing to see a more flexible grid system where we can split the path into multiple parallel branches and merge them back at any given point.
