Set more than one parallel per pair of lines

Hi all,

Currently, in Quad Cortex, only one parallelism can be added per row pair (1 splitter, 1 merge).
It’s certainly not a feature that will be useful to everyone, but I believe that allowing multiple splitters/merges per row could be an implementation that brings the application much closer to that of other competing modelers.

What do you think about it?

Sounds useful to me, I wish it had been implemented from The start, I also wonder why you can’t run all 4 lines In parallel just from one input on the left, I currently have to duplicate some effects if I want them to affect all 4 lines

There is a request for this. Personally I would love for this to be implemented. Vote here:

I think it comes down to a hardware limitation because of the way the quad core processing is split (two cores for the top two rows, two cores for the bottom two rows). I can’t confirm whether this is actually the case.

Maybe there were more discussions about this but I couldn’t find them. It’s been a long while since this topic last came up.

Anyway, this request gets at the core (no pun intended) of the issue:
