Mission Engineering EP1-KP on Quad Cortex?

Hi,

I wanna know if someone have tried to use the Mission EP1-KP designed for Kemper units on a Quad Cortex, especially the toe switch. I can’t find any information online and this is the only expression pedal I can find locally since the recent shurdown of Mission Engineering.

I use a Mission EP1-KP with my Stage. On asking Mission for direction I got the following response.

“The Mission EP-1 and SP-1 are the recommended expression pedals for use with the NeuralDSP Quad Cortex. Currently only the expression pedal function is enabled. Support for the toe switch will be added later. Customers who wish to purchase the SP-1 now, will be able to use the expression function only until the switch feature is available in the Quad Cortex. Alternatively, the EP-1 can be used if the toe switch will not be required. It’s possible that the EP1-KP expression pedal function will work OK. The switch function has not been tested.”

I hope this helps any other Mission fans.

Thanks for that info ! But nobody really tried the toe switch with this pedal… I guess it work now with the recent updates

Catching up–looks like Mission Engineering went out of business, with a bunch of people not receiving orders they made, nor getting refunded. Yikes.

Hmm is this a new line? Or just using up old mission engineering stock??

Seems like a lot for an expression pedal though i undertanr it may be made in the USA.
