Midi Tempo Change Issue (NOT tap tempo over midi)

Is anyone aware if it’s possible to send a CC/PC to change the BPM on the QC? The manual says to use CC #44 for Tempo BPM, but that just makes your midi switch a tap tempo button…

I’m using Hybrid mode, and hoping to use my midi controller to trigger song BPMs with one button push instead of tapping it in on the QC. My scenes are set up for gain staging (and every setlist I play is more than 4 songs anyway) so setting tempo per scene doesn’t accomplish what I’m trying to do.

Hacky solutions welcomed…

@calebhorains Wondering if you ever found an answer to this? I’m using my Songbook app to send MIDI commands to change to the scene with the effects I need and it works BEAUTIFULLY! Can’t get it to change the tempo though, also using CC44.
