Hi all,
The LCD screen on my device powers on (backlight works) but only shows vertical/horizontal lines. No readable text or menus appear, even though the unit itself seems to function.
The unit is out of warranty, but considering this is a high-end / expensive product, this kind of failure is not something you would normally expect.

Does this look like a dead LCD, a bad ribbon/connection, or possibly a driver/contrast issue?
