Looper Sets Global Tempo

As the QC now has the ability to communicates Midi Clock Out, the Looper should be able to Sets QC’s Global Tempo, in order to send it by MIDI / USB to external devices or DAW such as Ableton Live for instance.

This function is possible because it already exists in Ableton Live’s looper, and is very convenient :

Let’s say you start a song, live, by looping something with your guitar.
As soon as you loop your first loop, Ableton (or the QC in this example) automatically calculates your tempo and you have the option to set this tempo to global, which allows you to send it out to other apps / devices / everything which communicates by Midi.

Or to your drummer’s drum machine / tempo app, which would give him a click.

This would be a KILLER option.

Please people, let’s vote for this option

Yep! Looking for this feature as well as a fellow solo guitar looper looking to start a live loop than sync the tempo for an Akai MPC Live 2 for layering other instruments.

Absolutely, Fnz! For an Akai MPC or any other kind of device with a midi in, which would allow to sync tempos, in a solo environment, or in a band, with a drummer. This is capital!
Please people VOTE for this feature, as it can unlock looper’s use for live / Stage performance :pray:t3::guitar:

This seems essential and something not hard to set up. I would like to be able to send the tempo from QC to other devices since each song could have the tempo assigned. I’m disappointed this isn’t already there. I also want to use a looper with a drummer and a in ear click seems essential.
My set lists have the songs. Ideally the QC would be the master and drive the looper tempo and another device to produce a click. Please NDSP can you organise this.

2 and a half years later, and still no evolution with this feature which seems to be fundamental…
Neural, please could you answer this question? Ableton knows how to do this, it is only a question of logic layer…

I am not sure if you are aware of NDSPs Discord and Facebook socials but I have seen others frequently post there linking to a feature request here in order to bring more visibility to their request :slightly_smiling_face:

Barely anyone from Neural posts on here. It’s mostly users of Neural products….. I doubt they’ll see this, especially since almost no other users have voted for it as a feature they want

Alright, in that case, thanks for keeping this thread active for me

Seems like some people don’t vote even for features they want. I often see threads where the number of users posting they want the feature is greater than the number of actual votes.

Thank you for your help :slightly_smiling_face:
