Looper: Overdub with keep pressing the MIDI footswitch

Hi,

I find the looper overdub function very useful if you just keep pressing the footswitch. Is this doable with a MIDI footswitch like the MP-100? Or maybe with a better controller? I don’t know much about MIDI, and don’t know what the controller sends when you hold down a button. Would such an implementation be possible? This would improve the live performance of the looper via MIDI footswitch very much.

Thank you. Many Regards.

Hi @mrRo8o7 , I know some have had success using the FCB-1010 controller doing the same but it would depend how you configured the MP-100. Since there are many variables, I would recommend reaching out directly to support@neuraldsp.com and see if they can point you in the right direction.

Thank you very much for your answer. I think I have found the keyword: Momenary MIDI functions. It should be possible to send a Momentary MIDI message (127 when pressed, and 0 when released). I will test this on my QC :slightly_smiling_face:
