Right now I’m using a Focusrite Scarlett Gen 4 into my pc and I use Neural DSP plugins ( which are mind blowing good). I used early modelers until around 2008 when I switched back to Tubes. I finally feel like these plugins are as good as my Mesa/Fender Amps. I’m new to using an interface with plugins so I have a lot to learn still. After a lot of reading it seems like the FBV3 is a good option for preset switching and the use of expression pedals and it’s an easy unit to setup compared with a lot of the others. It is fairly expensive but I’ve had good experiences with line 6 gear in the past with my 20 year old gear still all fully functional. Is this still a good option in 2026? I have a second expression pedal compatible with the FBV3 already so I can have both pedals set without switching. Should I look at something else or will this work well for my pc plugin setup.
