Is it worth to get the plugins for QC?

I am a new to QC, I am so impressed by the selection of amps and configurations available, that is almost overwhelming , I can’t see how much better it can get , yet I am curious about the plugins , I am considering get the Gogira x , and the Soldano x , but I am wondering, can’t I achieve same sounds using what is available on QC, or the plugins are so uniquely sounding , that it makes it worth the extra expense?

You have a free 15 days trial with the plugins, see for yourself if they bring to the table something you’re not getting with the stock amps/FX and captures, and decide.

I purchased the SLO-X plugin as it’s a tone I wanted and needed for my projects, I’m not thinking of purchasing any of the other plugins as I’m happy with what I have now (the one and only thing I’d want is a micropitch block, that I don’t think any of the plugins has either).

So it’s all a matter of what YOU like, what YOU want and whether the plugins fulfil that or not. Use the trial period to see for yourself.

Cool thanks , that helps , I assume the 14 days trial was for the DAW version only , I will try

To be clear, you have to purchase the plug-in in order for it to work on the Quad Cortex. The trial only works for standalone and VST3 / AU / AAX versions of the plug-ins.

So far I think that Soldano SLO-100 X is the best plug-in crossover to the QC. It sounds significantly better than the QC’s original SLO amp model block.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I have Rabea and Tim Henson because they add a synth and a minivoicer.
