Is there a way to have the volume control to only work on certain outputs. so I have the XLR output 1 going to the PA and I want that to be a consistent level. and then I use the volume on the cortex to dial the stage volume amp up and down. at the moment it seems to only work for all outputs.

The main volume on the QC is an attenuator and NDSP recommends to keep at 100% for best SNR etc., and tweak each preset/signal chain output for the desired volume. Otherwise, as 747 stated the feature request has been added and may be incorporated someday. Since there is a feature request already …
