Is it possible to capture the knobs and switches on a pedal?

I don’t own a QC yet, and I’m relatively new to the guitar world. So I hope this isn’t a dumb question. I’ve seen some tutorials on how to capture a pedal and it looks fairly straightforward. My question is whether or not it’s possible to capture the entire functionality of a pedal, including all knobs, switches, and buttons that the pedal might have on it into a single profile in the QC. All of the tutorials I’ve seen, they set the pedal how they want it, then they capture that and if you want any other pedal configuration, you have to do a new capture.

Is what I’m talking about possible?

No; a capture is just a snap shot of how the pedal is set at the moment, and there are only some generic EQ/level adjustments possible once it’s made.

Like @cardinal said,a capture is only a snapshot of your pedal or amp with one setting.

The only thing you can do is make several captures, for example with low/medium/high gain setting on your pedal and then switch them in your preset.
