Insanely High CPU usage

Hi,

Mac Pro
2.26Ghz
8 cores

Im using Plini. When I open a Logic project of just 2 tracks, both with Plini on them the CPU is at maximum! Any idea why?
There is nothing else running on my computer. I put one Plini on and it goes to around half, I put the second on and it goes to full.
