Hi

I’m new to the Quad Cortex, Where do i find Impulse Responses to use instead of cabinets ?

Should there be any already supplied ? I can see the cabs on the editor but no IR’s

You have to load outside impulse responses manually yourself to the QC. The cabinets in the QC are based on impulse responses, but I always prefer impulse responses from elsewhere compared to their cabs

I thought the cabs and impulse responses were different things

Technically they are because there’s a separate IR loader as well. The IR loader block requires you to load your own impulse responses as far as I know
