I ❤️ my QC

I’ve had my QC for about 4 or 5 months now. I haven’t had the volume issues that I’ve seen talked about here and there. I did find a strange blip blip blip with a very particular signal chain, but I rebuilt that troublesome preset and for whatever reason that blip went away.

The upgrade was awesome (yes the internet connection is a bit flakey but honestly I don’t care because that’s like 5% of my use-case and it hasn’t “stopped” working), I got both Plini and Gorjira plugins and have since blended them, mix & match, with my presets. I can’t wait for the next upgrade…

The 70 second boot time is what it is. I don’t know why that has been such a big deal. I use the standby mode, I have presets with intentionally no inputs as markers for instrument changes etc… When I want it off, I turn it off, when I want it on, it’s on in a minute-ish.

I run both effects loops… use the side-chaining and hybrid stomp and scene mode all the time.

Not only this… but I’m able to dial in my presets, settings and effects changes far better than I ever have before. This is by far the best multiprocessor that I’ve used (not that I’ve used many).

I just wanted to change the tone for a minute because I’ve been very happy with my QC.

Good news! I too am really pleased with the QC, going on two years, zero issues, knock wood.

My boot time is not anywhere near 70 seconds and I just power off and on from an AC power bar. I do not gig with the unit it is just on my studio desk, run outputs 1 and 2 to an Audient Evo 8 then out from there to my Raezer’s Edge Audio Flux 200, and usb to Mac Mini M2.

Have used other modelers, IMO QC has superior sound quality, plus with capture ability and the Cortex Cloud I can own some of my dream amps that others have shared.

Thanks for the positive post and have a good day.
