How to how to turn on and off 1 of 4 grids in scenes? Please help!

Hello, I just bought a quad cortex and I need help.
I would like to make in scenes 4 grids/rows.
1st grid Clean, 2nd grid Crunch, 3rd grid Lead and 4th grid Solo.

I am interested in how to set it so that, for example, I press the E switch and only the 1st grid Clean is activated and all other grids are off. Press the F switch and only the 2nd grid crunch is activated, and the other grids are off.
Please explain me step by step as I am new to this.

I watched the video but I didn’t figure out how to do it. (5:52)

I have the latest quad cortex update.

Thank you very much!

Hello, I figured out how to make it work…..

thanks!!!

I had more of a response typed out but you beat me to it. However…

A WORD OF CAUTION.

There are some possible issues with the workflow of using multiple rows, with one amp and cab on each row:

  1. It’s really easy to make mistakes this way. You would almost certainly want to add a gain block at the start of each chain or at the end, with the gain rolled all the way down. Be sure to use scenes to turn these on and off so you can control which signal is being passed through to the output. A lot of “my sound is bad!” complaints in the forum are the result of someone using this multiple-row method and unknowingly (and unintentionally) allowing signals to “bleed” together, typically on the Multi-Out output.

  2. You may be sacrificing a row or two unnecessarily.

  3. Not the best optimization of the QC in terms of space on the grid, or CPU usage (if you’re using the QC by yourself).

I prefer set up my amp blocks together in the first row and use scenes to switch between them. This gives me the grid space to place a bunch of other blocks where I want them.
