How to copy scenes to another layer/bank

Hi. I’m using Qc on a scene mode. My live setup includes scenes on a three different layers/banks.

How can I copy easily one song for example page1, slot B to page3, slot C? This is a feature which I would need all the time when setlist is changing.

I’ve tried to find this out on my own but no success there.

Thanks for your help!

not sure I understand the question, so I’ll outline a few options here.

  1. you can’t move scenes between different presets. You either have to save your present preset to a different location (setlist) as a copy, and then edit around that scene you want to keep, or select all the components of that scene, copy them and paste them into a new preset; this requires using Cortex Control presently. Also, those components will be pasted into the exact same location on the grid as from the previous preset, so that area needs to be blank in the new preset. The benefit of doing it this way is that they will retain all the exact settings as from the previous preset.

  2. If you are referring to moving/copying presets, there are lots of different ways to do that. You can drag and drop them in Cortex Control, or cut/copy and paste them into the new slot wherever you wish. See the graphic for Setlists below

Hope I got to close to what you’re asking for. If not, help us narrow it down some with more info.

Hey there
I am exactly not sure but to copy scenes from one layer/bank to another in Qc, you have to follow these steps:

  1. Select the scene you want to copy from the source layer/bank (e.g., page1, slot B).
  2. Press the “Copy” button (or equivalent) on your controller.
  3. Navigate to the destination layer/bank (e.g., page3).
  4. Select the slot where you want to paste the copied scene (e.g., slot C).
  5. Press the “Paste” button (or equivalent) on your controller.

This should allow you to easily copy scenes between different layers/banks, making it convenient for changing setlists.
