How to audition tones (atleast from My Captures)?

I wish we can have a computer based app.I’m using an iPhone but it still seems complex to navigate.I wish there was an easy way to audition tones at least from the My Captures list, without having to dump it into the pedal first. If anyone has an easy work around to audition tones do let me know.
Also can someone tell me the difference between banks & Presets? With the new update I’m hoping they would update the app & introduce a Mac based one too.

Presets versus banks
Nano Cortex has a signal chain that consists of different slots in series. Two pre effect slots, one neural capture slot, one IR loader slot and three post effect slots. A preset is all the settings in all these slots, so saving a preset you are saving all the settings in all the slots.

The 5 banks of neural captures (called the Neural Capture Library) are there for you to be able to change what’s in the the neural capture slot in your signal chain without affecting any of the other slots. So kind of like switching out the amp but keeping effects and cabinet the same.

Same thing with the single bank of 5 IR files, you are basically changing cabinet and keeping the rest intact.

To audition tones you have to download the neural capture and load it into the signal chain.

Thank you.That explains a lot .
I hope they have a computer based editor where users can exchange presets rather than just the amp captures.
I don’t own a Quart but is it possible for me to download the Quad editor & listen to the captures with it before I can download?

Yes I agree a computer editor (like their Cortex Control software) would be really nice for the Nano. And preset backup and optional sharing as well, but that’s perhaps something that can happen without the Cortex Control software.
