New User with many questions ! Question#1 How do I audition a user tone before downloading?

Hi,
Although very impressed with the tones on the Nano, the app seems to be a bit complex.I found only 1 video where there’s a very quick & brief info on the app operation. Is there a tutorial that can explain how to use the app & download tones as it seems pretty confusing.I’m trying to audition user tones before I add them into a preset & it doesnt give me an option to do so unless I add it onto a bank on the unit.I’m trying to figure out how to add it as a preset.Overall I just need a step by step tutorial on the app usage & a video would be very helpful. I really hope they develop a desktop version of the app to make the navigation easier. Can someone help pls?

Thanks.I guess this was the video I was watching & mentioned about.Doesn’t give too many details that I needed to know unfortunately.Main question was how do I audition user tones before I add it to the unit? Is there anyway I can audition the tones on the desktop edit program of quad cortex? I hope its a free download as I dont have the Quard

The video above that EdZZ shared is good. If you watch the “Cortex Cloud App” and the “Creating a preset” sections of this instruction you got the basic workflow right there.

And I can answer your question how to audition amp captures before you add them to the unit, you don’t. There’s no such feature. You have to download from the nano cloud into your unit and try stuff out. If you don’t like things you just delete them to make room for other amp captures.

My method is kind of lame but works for me. In the YouTube reviews of the nano I get an idea of the capture tone of the player, and then check out what they have put in the cloud. Helps me narrow it down without constant downloading.
