Help with getting Tim Henson X on QC

Hello to everyone,

I want to add Tim Henson plugin to my quad cortex, but it is not showing up in the list on my QC, at all (not even with the lock icon). I bought the plugin before it had compatibility with the quad cortex, so it should be a free upgrade? should show up on my device, right?
What am i missing? I know it is prob just me forgetting how the process of how to do this, but any help would be great

Welcome. On the plugin page for NDSP’s site, it indicates “PCOM coming soon” or “Compatible”. Plugins that indicate “Compatible” are available on the QC (assuming you have purchased etc., note that trials will not show up on the QC.) PCOM coming soon indicates that plugin will soon be compatible with future updates. Be sure to follow the news page for QC, Plugin and Nano news!

I hope NDSP official is getting a taste of how massively confusing releasing PCOM this way has been. I don’t know that they see threads like this one, but there are plenty and although they are describing the process and labeling the plugins on the site as they’re upgraded, obviously it’s not clear enough to avoid a good bit of confusion.

There’s got to be a less confusing way of doing this. I know they want to get the X versions out as soon as they’re ready even when the PCOM CorOS upgrade for QC use isn’t complete- but why? Is it accomplishing anything other than confusing new users?

Not said in anger- merely baffled here, as I’m sure many other customers are.

for clarification here; if you already have TIm Henson, here’s where you go to download the X version, and there’s NO MENTION of PCOM AT ALL on this page for any of the plugins:

Confusing from the get go and even cloudier now with comments across lots of forums and still nothing from Neural. Can’t say anything more else the ax will come down.

thanks for the reply
I realized after I posted that the X on the archetype does not mean compatible with the quad cortex, I thought it is because i have Plini and Gojira on my cortex…in my mind X=for quad cortex
