Interested to get your recommendations on this. I’ve never really bothered with headphones with a modeller before, for 2 reasons; one, the Helix was so big I never travelled with it, and two, in my experience, even high end units like the QC sound rubbish through headphones. Headphone sound

So I just hopped on the plugin wagon today, and have been playing around with the Cali suite on the free trial. Anyways, I don’t have monitor speakers, just a Bose computer sound system, and a pair of Sennheiser hd 280 pro headphones. Interface is an Audient id4, And I have an iMac, i5, 16GB ram. hello guys, i dont know if there was another post about it, if there was i apologies for it. i currently run my QC with BD DT770 80 OHMS. i dont like how the QC sounds with this headphones, they sound “far” instead of "close to your ears’ (the best i can describe it), and the volume is kinda low on 100% with levels adjustments for them not to distort. i am looking for headphones i can use with the QC to run with very loud volume (i know its not the best for my ears, but this is how i like to…
