We need this people , let’s write about it and tell me how you folks solved this issue . I communicated with the support team, but with your help we can enjoy overall amazing lifelong tone quest in alll aspects

The Neural DSP Development Team,
I am writing to you as a dedicated user of the Quad Cortex, expressing a significant workflow limitation I and many other users have encountered regarding output routing and cabinet simulation management. I would like to formally request a feature enhancement to address this issue.
The Current Challenge:
Currently, to send a signal with a Cab IR to Outputs 1/2 (for FOH) and a signal without a Cab IR to Outputs 3/4 (for a stage power amp and guitar cabinet), one must create a complex preset using splitters and multiple rows within the signal grid. While this is a functional workaround, it is unnecessarily time-consuming and inflexible.
The core of the issue is that the “Cab Off” function is tied to a signal path within a preset’s grid, not to the physical outputs themselves. This means this complex routing must be manually built into every preset intended for live use with a hybrid setup.
The Impact:
This limitation has several key consequences:
1. Inefficiency: It drastically slows down preset creation and on-the-fly editing during rehearsals or sound checks.
2. Inflexibility: It prevents quick output changes. For example, if I want to use a different preset that wasn’t pre-routed for multi-output, I cannot simply assign Outputs 3/4 as a “dry” or “pre-Cab” monitor feed.
3. Contradiction to Pro-Grade Hardware: The Quad Cortex is a professional-grade piece of hardware, yet this routing hurdle is a significant barrier to a seamless live performance workflow, a primary use case for the device.
The Feature Request:
I respectfully urge you to consider implementing a global output setting that allows users to disable the Cab IR on a per-physical-output basis.
This could be implemented in several ways, for example:
· A setting in the Output Mode menu (e.g., “Global Output Config”) where users can toggle Cab Sim “On” or “Off” for each output pair (1/2, 3/4, etc.).
· A per-preset option in the Output Block to independently enable/disable the Cab IR for each output path.
This functionality is commonly found in competing units (such as the Kemper Profiler’s “Monitor Cab Off”) and is considered essential by many guitarists who use modelers in a live environment with traditional guitar cabs on stage.
Why This Matters:
Implementing this feature would transform the live experience for Quad Cortex users. It would allow for a “set and forget” configuration for our stage rigs, providing immense flexibility and reliability. We could freely browse and use any preset, confident that our stage output (e.g., Output 3/4) will always deliver a consistent, Cab-IR-free signal to our power amp.
Thank you for your time and for creating such a powerful platform. The Quad Cortex is an incredible device, and this enhancement would solidify its position as the most intuitive and powerful modeler on the market for live performers.
I look forward to seeing this considered in a future firmware update.
Sincerely,
