Gapless switching between presets / faster boot times

Fractal has gapless switching between presets (I know about scenes) also, my FM9 boots in 1/4 of the time as my QC.

It’s ridiculous that this thing has more power (chip wise) than the FM9 but it takes 3x longer to boot up. Also, gapless switching should be possible if it is over on the fractal units

Gapless switching is more important to me than boot times.
I understand you can put it in scene mode and get Gapless that way.

Scribble strips would be huge too. I love my QC and its form factor is way beyond fractal. As for a stage unit fractal has QC beat with scribble strips and flow.
Also, Gapless switching between actual presets is massive and not something I ever expected, but here it is…

The QC is terrible at stage flow. I have not figured out midi switching yet - not sure it would work well without Gapless switching.
Scenes are super limited and it’s done like the old hat line six hd units.
Not very well thought out.

These are the features I’d like to see neural overcome in the next 6 months.

I know it is written explicitly that the “inevitable” gap between preset changes will occur, so I can’t claim I wasn’t warned. Nevertheless, I really wonder why this is de facto inevitable in the most powerful pedal modelller on the planet in year 2021. I have many other devices, which have no perceived gaps (or at least much less) or/and which support spill-over of delay/reverb between even complex preset changes. Existing request for improving boot time (not much traction there):

Improve Boot Time

I just did a complete factory reset with CoreOS 2.0.0 and the QC takes about 43 to 44 seconds to boot up. That’s quite a bit longer than the 6-year old Helix Floor/LT (3.50) which “only” takes less than half of the time (20 to 21 seconds). Maybe this can be still be improved?
