Crackling sounds ruining my quad experience

It does not.
I just unplugged absolutely everything to see if the noise would go away.
No go.
My computer is turned completely off. No go

USB cables can create really bad ground loops between QC and your audio interface, even if the computer is off.

How do I avoid that ?

Higher end usb cable ?
Run into an interface ?

what is the USB cable from the QC plugged into now? A port on the computer or a hub?

It’s running straight into my computer. I believe into a 2.0 hub

Pitching in here. Can you try a different guitar/bass? What happens if you plug directly into your interface?

I don’t currently have another guitar to try. But I’ve got a couple of troubling shooting things to attempt when I’m home My bassist has quad and I’m gonna borrow his for a day to see if his does the same thing. I’m also gonna try my quad on my wife’s Mac to see if there’s any issues with my computer

To my ears … it’s your pickups.
bet of luck bro

You think so? Do you think it’s a ground issue with the guitar? Or the way they got wired in? They’re not low end pups. Duncan scarlet and scourge

Check instrument cables. Even a new cable can be broken… cold solder, short circuit…
