Cracking noise after several minutes of playing backtrack music via phone (Android)

just recently bought this wonderful device! But there some problems.
So i want to backtrack some music and conect my phone via USB (Android phone). After 3 minutes of backtracking it starts craking and distortion the sound. when i stop song craking and distortion stops and starts again when playing. helps reconnecting the phone. It not ewery time, like 70-80% of the time. i cant conferm, but .WAV dont have this problem (i dont shure, i have only 1 song in this format, but it 4 min long). Using a metronome on the phone also have this problem. all of my songs mp3 320. Anyone have solution?

You can email support@neuraldsp.com to see if they have any solution. There isn’t much support for Android and it could be some sort of resource issue. Since the S25 is very new, there might be some bugs to work out for compatibility related issues. I would email support and see if they have any optimization hints.

Update: it sense .WAV don’t have this problem. Support answer standart - check cable and they cant confirm this with problem (no one in company have android?). While i using metronome on phone it seems there a circle 3-4 min norm sound, 3-4 min cracking and distortion and then again normal sound…
I discover a solution without reconnecting phone: stop music for about 5-10 seconds and then cicle begin again.
According to that i think it program problem on cortex side.

I can confirm I’ve also had this problem using Pixel 6.

There have been a handful of posts over the years regarding Android related issues. Since Android isn’t officially supported, getting support and or resolution isn’t always easy and almost always a case by case scenario. As long as the device you are using is Core Audio compliant, it should be compatible for audio over USB. Regardless of whether anyone in support owns and or uses Android for cell etc. , it doesn’t matter much if it’s unsupported. While working with support, I recommend searching this forum for Android related issues and hopefully you can find a post that will provide direction for your next steps. You haven’t mentioned if you are using a USB hub which if so, they can be problematic especially if not powered.
