Ability to stream sound from your smartphone via bluetooth

Hello,
I think adding the ability to stream sounds from your smartphone(e.g. spotify, youtube music to jam to or simply a metronome) would make the nano cortex great practice tool. Kemper player has it from what I’ve read. This would make it much better device and since it’s promoted as a practice tool for beginners- I’d love to see it.

Cheers!

Doing this either in bluetooth or by usb would be awesome indeed !

Yeah, not only practicing, but also for clinics, solo gigs etc. Very useful.

I’ve owned the NC for a few months now and this is by far the feature that I miss the most. I mainly use the NC standalone with headphones for practicing. Unfortunately, I’m forced to use my Waza Air headphones whenever I want to practice with playback. Hope NDSP introduce this feature in future updates.

The Nano Cortex allows you to connect directly to a phone using USB C port, it will stream the audio that way. I am testing it now and hearing crackling noises, will try another usb C to C cable to see if this fixes the issue

is that running usb connection and BT simultaneously ?

Hi,

I tried both cases, only usb connection or usb + bluetooth connected to Nano and in both cases I got the glitches.

Im guessing you both have andriod phones? I have the same issue with glitching audio every 30 seconds. Its very annoying they cant get the audio working over usb C properly with andriod. Much cheaper products like the fender mustang micro plus, and the nux headphone amp all work flaslessly with both android and ios for audio and theyre much cheaper products. My favourite way to record myslef playing for socials is to just connect a usbc to my phone and start a video recording. A real shame this doesnt work proerply on nano cortex as this would be great for that and for just jamming to backing tracks without needing to open your laptop.
