"Hi. Currently, the CorOS operating system doesn’t include a physical or digital “Airplane Mode” switch to completely turn off the adapter’s transmitting antenna. I think it would be a great feature to add. I use a Soundcraft Ui24R mixer controlled via a tablet; I handle the sound and keep the tablet near my QC, but it constantly disconnects from the mixer and reconnects only when I move it a bit further away. I’ve noticed this same issue with my Sennheiser ew IEM G4 E-Band in-ear monitors.
It becomes particularly noticeable when engaging certain effects, like delay or specific types of distortion. I’d really like to see an update—or some kind of function—that allows me to disable Wi-Fi during gigs so the unit stops trying to connect to other digital devices. I’ve reached this conclusion after several shows where I experimented with various mixer and in-ear setups and closely observed how my QC interacts with the other digital gear we use live."
