Complete backup and restore possibilities, without internet

Since I experienced some serious issues (lost captures on the Nano Cortex, thank God I wasn’t on stage!) during uploads via Cortex Cloud app, I think we need a quick and complete failback solution if anything goes wrong. Be it locally on the phone, USB stick whatsoever.
Not only single captures or presets, we need to get the possibility to backup and restore the whole system.

I just gave it a try, but…
I’m sorry to say that my Nano Cortex isn’t even recognized by Cortex Control.
Seems like Cortex Control needs to have the bigger Quad to show up

So… for the Nano we would still need to have a proper backup solution!

Is there a way to load the captures from the cloud into Cortex Control and save just the captures locally? The rest of the preset isn’t super important to back up since they are pretty basic blocks.

My mistake, this thread appeared to look like it was in Quad Cortex category.

Yes, that’s possible if course.
And as long as the NC sits at home, it’s halfway ok to fiddle around with it.

In my case, all I tried was to make my captures “public”, using Cortex Cloud. (I do believe they earn a bit attention , they came out really well)

All of a sudden 2 of the captures appeared to be like “empty”… one could only hear a line signal, no captured amp sound anymore.

To make it short:
Just dragging back the missing captures from the cloud into the NC didn’t do it. Renaming and trying to get those somehow corrupted captures from the cloud back into the NC didn’t work either!
In the end, I needed to erase them from the cloud, rename and upload the captures from QC back to the cloud again and then - finally ! - I was able to get them back to the NC!

Now imagine this on stage, even if you’re “only” on soundcheck… horrible situation.
