Capturing with a Waza TAE?

I was trying to capture a modified JCM800 using a WAZA TAE 100 as a loadbox to get a di capture.

Using the mono out XLR from the TAE into input 2 I get VERY low signal - like you can hear it if you crank the output on the TAE and the input of the quad but there’s a ton of noise. I tried switching the mic/instrument input 2 toggle with no benefit. I also tried using the send of the fx loop of the TAE into input 2 with a 1/4” cable. Same problem.

The levels look fine from the guitar and they look fine into and out of the TAE. Has anyone had issues with their input 2 for capturing on the QC?

Check the line out level in the software. The mono out is controlled by software, the left and right are the knob in the front

Yeah - thanks - the line out on the signal chain is at 100

what about the connection from the amp to the Waza? Have you tested that cable specifically?
