I am brand new to the QC world. I play bass in a a number of bands and I am excited to use the QC for all the different sounds I need. One of my current projects is playing the full Abbey Road record. There are isolated bass tracks from the record available via YouTube. Is it possible to capture those tones and use them as presets? This is a whole new world for me so if this is a dumb question I apologize.
Hello. The QC capture process does not work like that. It sends a bunch of digital bleeps and bloops through an amplifier or drive pedal source, “listens” to the result, and builds the capture based on the frequency response.
That said, if you know what amp that Paul played through on Abbey Road, you can search on Cortex Cloud and see if anyone has already captured that amp, then download it to your QC.
