Hello,
I have an idea that crossed my mind.
I’ve isolated a Tone I really like as a Wav file on an album and I’d like to know if it’s possible to capture it?
What do you think?

That’s not how capturing works. What you are looking for is tone matching / eq matching.
Although @christoph is correct, that’s still a cool idea and thanks for sharing. Perhaps if you know more about the artist and the type of amps/effects they’re using, you could ask around and maybe the forum can recommend some captures that could pull it off. What’s the tone from the album that you’re digging?
Similar thread came up recently.
The group is called Hangman Chair,
I’m posting a link where you can hear the tone I’m aiming for, especially at 3.45 where the guitar is isolated.
Agreed with @christoph here. Your ask is less about capturing with the QC and more about tone matching what another player is doing. That’s something you just learn as a player and need to hear what those types of effects and tones are that are being used. Experiment and see what you can come close to with the effects in QC to match the tones you’re hearing. It’s part of the fun, and also just part of being a good musician. Experiment away!
My old Axe FX II used to be able to do this. Pick an amp that is close then play the audio and the Axe Fx worked its magic and matched the exact tone using EQ changes.
The problem is that I’ve been at it for weeks and I can’t get it to sound exactly the same.
If you have a Mac there are GarageBand/Logic plugins that do exactly what you want. I have used Moises to separate songs into tracks i.e just the acoustic guitar track. Then recorded my acoustic in GarageBand and tone matched to the acoustic track I got out of Moises. The plugin created an IR of the tone and I loaded that into QC
