Capturing Mantra Signal Chain for live vocal use

Curious if anyone has tried capturing Mantra plugin for live vocal use on QC yet ? I would love to know the results. I realize it cant do the delays, reverb or pitch effects but these can be recreated mostly. It should in theory be able to do the pre-amp , complex eq and compression chain dialed in for your vocal and mic used however..

I captured all the capturable devices separately, they’re on my Cloud account, same user name as here. I’ve also got them built into a preset meant to simulate the Mantra layout

Probably going to reshoot the compressors again with V2

Wow thats awesome ! Ill check it out.. Definitely worth doing again with the multiband compression going on again I would think. Did you find it helpful for live vocals ?

haven’t had a chance to experiment yet- I just figured I may as well layout the template for when we get time. Keep in mind, if you do try the template preset, it’s not dialed in at all= everything is set to defaults. It’s just meant as a starting place with all the tools gathered.

one of the captures used in your preset showin up as unavailable. neumann 149 and jz amethyst

There are no mic emulations in mantra. This appears to be part of his preset though somehow. Im not 100 on his use case or intention. It would seem like the mic would take care of itself though having different mic captures would allow you to use a blended mic type setup live. One of the big things with mantra is that it will eq based on the voice and mic being used by analyzing the sound. it then uses varios other signal chain options and enhancements like multiband compression, tube circuitry, effects etc

I’m not sure why that capture is not showing, it still is from my end and it’s set to public. I notice all the info is gone and there’s no picture so I assume somehow it’s been overwritten, but it should still be in place in the preset. Not sure what’s happening there. If I look at it from another account, it doesn’t show as missing. Maybe I’ll try re-uploading the whole thing and see what happens

My mic captures are made from the Slate plugin, they are Mic simulations (response and EQ curves like all captures are). I thought they might add some versatility to the Mantra emulation and make up for some of the features the QC can’t duplicate
