Capture Acoustic IR or load it?

Given that the QC limits the size of IR’s, would i get better results by creating my own IR, putting it on an IR loader such as the TC Electronics which accepts up to 200ms and then capturing that, as opposed to using the QC IR Loader block?

my experiments so far have not shown a huge difference. I tend to like the sound and feel of the captured IR better, but I haven’t figured out a way to analyze the actual difference. I need to run them thru some metering apps I guess, but haven’t done it yet.

One other advantage of capturing IRs is that’s a way to be able to share them on the Cloud, which you can’t do w/ IRs.
