Can You Press The FootSwitches on the MINI?

Hi,

I am considering the QC MINI…. but I am confused by the website documentation which says the footswitches are not momentary.

The QC MINI - does the QC MINI allow you to change scenes by pressing (down) one of the 4 footswitches ?

What the QC MINI - support is triggering functions like scene change, looper recording start, or turning an fx block on/off — only on release of a footswitch? Meaning - I can setup the QC MINI so a footswitch may do nothing when pressed down, but only up release.

Does the QC itself support triggering function ONLY via release? E.g. - I want to start the looper upon RELEASE or let up of a footswtich but not when pressing it. Does the QC itself support this (on release)???

Right now, all FS of the QC mini have long press (= press & hold) functions assigned to them by default.
Because of that, the FS can’t activate instantly on press, but only on release or holding.

For example:
short press FS D activates on Scene D on release
long press FS D activates Tap Tempo after hold time of +500ms
long press both FS B+D jumps to next preset after hold time of +500ms
