CorOS Version: 3.1
When creating new subfolders under the “my captures” in the directory view captures that are moved into subfolders will now be unable to easily be access while in the “grid” view and looking to add captures.
What you will see is the “My Captures” drop down and all the subfolders created however the subfolder will appear empty with no way to click into or out of. The only way to temporarily regain functionality is to quit cortex control and then restart the application.
Steps to reproduce your issue:
- In Cortex Control click on the “Directory View”
- Click on the “Capture Library” > “My Captures”
- Create one or more new “subfolders” under the “My Captures” folder
- Drag items from downloads or my captures into the newly created subfolder.
- Go to “Grid” view and them work with Captures > My Captures > Subfolder and it will appear as either empty, or unable to click in or out of the folder.
I expected this to happen:
When I click the My Captures folder and select a subfolder I expect to see all the captures that have been moved into the newly created subfolder.
I have tried the following things:
- Moving all captures back into the root “My Captures folder” this resolves the issue.
- Short subfolder names
- Starting and closing the cortex application which will remedy the issue for a short period of time.
Not a major issue, but this is a hassle as it creates friction for the user and the experience when trying to logically group capture sets rather than having hundreds of captures sitting in the main folder.
