Avalon U5 with QC

Hi, did anyone already use QC with the Avalon U5? If you did, how did you do the conections, how do you use it?

The U5 is a DI box basically with a “thru” output. Unless you feel the need to use the tone options on the U5 you would just connect it like a normal DI box. Unless you’re trying to do something specific other than recording the dry DI without the added A/D of the QC.

Is there a specific reason you want to use the U5?

Thanks for the answer! I just wanted to know if that could be an option. My son bought the U5 and I was wondering if that could improve the guitar sound trough my QC.

Ehh, I guess you could use the tone options on the U5 to change the guitar tone going into the QC. Basically acts as an EQ. But really the U5 is basically a really nice DI box
