Being a new user, the QC has outperformed my expectations and the interface is just a joy to use.
Just one thing bugs me constantly and that is having to pull the power cable out when I’m in the studio. If I’m not playing guitar, there is no need to power up the QC and often have to power it down straight immediately when I forgot to pull the cable.
Maybe I’m missing the thinking behind this, but could there not be an option to turn it from the power button?
Are you asking if you can use the power button on the QC for powering up/down the QC?
Also, the QC will automatically power up when the QC is plugged in etc. Unfortunately, that is by design which I assume is to get gear up and running as fast as possible in live situations where you may experience a power fluctuation.
there’s no options for the powering up situation, so many users put a switch in line from their PSU to whatever power source they’re plugging into. That way it doesn’t restart automatically in the case of a power failure and restoration, etc
Thanks for the replies. I was just half wondering if I’d missed the option to stop auto powerup in a hidden menu!
It’s a minor irritation that I’ll get used to. Once I have everything programmed up for live use, the QC won’t be permanently plugged in anyway.
