Describe your issue:
All the presets that used downloaded neural captures had exclamation marks on them to show they were missing, and I had to through every preset I had and manually download them again.
I’m missing a great many more that I had carefully curated
Steps to reproduce your issue:
Upgrade from 331 to 4
I did try to logout and back in which I read was a possible solution. No change.
I haven’t seen any issues with captures disappearing so it may be bug on your system or something with your account. Sometimes, user captures shared publicly may be renamed or removed which will result with that error notification if you don’t have them saved locally but this sounds like something else is going on. Did you perform a backup prior to updating? If so, please try a factory reset and restore to see if it resolves your issues. Otherwise, I would recommend to email support@neuraldsp.com so they can log your issue and provide diagnostics to ensure your account / system issues are resolved.
I have same exact issue. It’s not related to captures being removed from cloud. It’s all downloaded captures, at least on my case. In my case they are still in download folder, and functioning in preset, but no ability to control without redownloading. Even captures that have been removed from cloud still working and on unit, but now stick as I can’t redownload them.
they’re not actually missing, as you’ve discovered they’re in your DL folder. If you save them from there to your Library, the error resolves itself. You shouldn’t have to redownload them, just save them from the DL folder. Support is aware of the bug and working to fix it. (this only seems to be a problem with Cortex Control, not on the QC itself)
